Cryptocurrency research guide

Learn the foundations of Bitcoin, Ethereum and digital assets before making decisions. This guide is educational, not financial advice. Market prices can move sharply and losses can be substantial.

Bitcoin (BTC): digital scarcity and network security

Bitcoin is a decentralised digital asset transferred on a public blockchain. Participants use private keys to authorise transactions. Its supply rules and proof-of-work network make it different from conventional money, but do not remove price or custody risks.

Ethereum (ETH): smart contracts and applications

Ethereum supports programmable smart contracts and decentralised applications. Network fees, smart-contract vulnerabilities and complex token designs are relevant risks for users evaluating Ethereum products.

Solana (SOL) and other blockchain networks

Blockchain networks differ in transaction throughput, decentralisation, fees, security assumptions and developer activity. Compare these factors, rather than relying on price alone, when researching any network.

Stablecoins and market liquidity

Stablecoins aim to track a reference asset such as a currency. Reserves, issuer governance, redemption rights and the possibility of losing the peg should all be considered. Liquidity may vary between trading venues.

Crypto wallets, private keys and custody

Self-custody wallets require the owner to safeguard private keys or recovery phrases. Custodial services introduce counterparty risk. Never share a recovery phrase, and verify any wallet or application independently.

Market prices, trading volume and volatility

A displayed cryptocurrency price may come from a specific exchange or an aggregated market feed. Bid-ask spreads, thin order books, latency and changing volume can affect the price at which an actual trade takes place. Past performance is not a reliable indication of future returns.

AI alerts, indicators and automated trading risks

Market alerts can draw attention to volatility, but algorithms cannot guarantee profits, predict bull runs with certainty or remove slippage and technical failures. Any demo signal should be clearly labelled as a demonstration and not represented as a verified trading outcome.

Security checks for cryptocurrency investors

Research project documentation, token distribution, smart-contract audits, trading venue risk, regulatory status in your jurisdiction and independent reporting. Beware of guaranteed returns, pressure to deposit, impersonation scams and requests to transfer funds to unlock winnings.

9CRYP.TO and the power of nine

Our name draws inspiration from the cultural symbolism of the number nine, which can signify longevity and continuity in Chinese traditions. Read the Nine Crypto story for the wider vision and cultural inspiration. Symbolism is not an investment forecast.
